I don't see those cheques ever being sent out.
I believe the checks would just cause another round of mass inflation same as the Covid checks did. Using the money to rebuild infrastructure would be a far better use.

I dont want a check, however the difference would be that this money would be given back from savings/repealed spending whereas the covid checks were from newly printed money.

I don't think the US government should send out any money to it's own citizens it doesn't have ...Lokmar!
The money allocated to these supposed DOGE cheques should be used to stabilize the US financial system so it can begin paying down its debt.
But...its not my country.
If the US wants to spend itself into financial armageddon it's their choice.
