Guy is 30 years old with a history of mental illness & incidents with the local police. He ran several people over driving at full speed with an SUV. It was a street festival with roads accessible by motor vehicles. So that was a major part of the problem.

that's correct major oversight on whomever it is that organized this event.
They should have invested in some form of telekinesis and allowed the festival goers to hoover at a comfortable distance above ground and this would have never happened!

NEVER go into a large crowd.
I got stuck smack dab in the middle of the Golden Gate bridge during the 50th anniversay bridgewalk back in 1987. Couldn't go forward, couldn't go back, couldn't do anything but stand there for three hours until they cleared the crowd enough for me to get out.
If the big one hit while I was there all I would have been able to do is go for a swim. With 887,000 tons of steel and concrete on top of me.
Whenever you see a big crowd, turn around and run the other way.
