Scott Moe said this.
The Prime Minister has the ability to move forward on all 10 of these items quickly, which would clearly signal a new, more positive relationship between Saskatchewan and the federal government than we have had for the past 10 years.
A stronger Saskatchewan means a stronger Canada, and all of these changes will be positive for both our province and our country.
1.Immediately begin negotiations with China to remove Chinese tariffs on Canadian agri-food products;
2. Strengthen the criminal code through bail reform and the introduction of stronger penalties to fight against new street drugs;
3. Stop attempting to collect the federal carbon tax on home heating from Saskatchewan to be in line with recent full removal of consumer carbon tax;
4. Transfer responsibility for the output-based pricing systems for heavy emitters to the provinces to ensure measures consider each province's unique industrial structure, economic realities and trade exposure;
5. Repeal the unachievable and unaffordable Clean Electricity Regulations and extend the life of coal power plants to provide affordable and reliable base-load power to Saskatchewan residents;
6. Repeal the Oil and Gas Emissions Cap to create investment certainty and secure the supply of Canadian energy products, some of the most sustainable in the world;
7. Build trade and economic corridors across the country and remove legislation that impacts the movement of western Canadian goods, to effectively and efficiently get our goods to domestic and international markets;
8. Restore the investment climate and streamlining federal approval process to allow major projects to proceed;
9. Expand pipeline capacity to protect the collective energy security for our nation, which will open up rail and port capacity for other exportable commodities;
10. Fundamentally reform the Impact Assessment Act, cutting red tape and streamlining the process to avoid duplication and infringement into provincial jurisdiction.
Alberta is a lot more urban and proggy than Saskatchewan. Even our NDP is not nearly as extreme as the Alberta NDP. The NDP is forced to listen to the concerns of working folks here. In Alberta, the NDP hates blue collar workers.
We could have a separation vote and win while one would lose in Alberta. We could then join the US as a new state or become part of North Dakota or Montana.
I support Alberta and Saskatchewan joining the US instead of becoming a republic. The reason is that Canada will never act in good faith if we got a yes vote. They will put a hundred poison pills in the way of leaving without massive pain.
If we get a fifty percent plus one yes vote in either province and the US recognized our independence, we are done with Canada. If we then asked the US to represent us in negotiating our joining the US, we would have Washington making sure Ottawa does not bully and cheat us. And they will do that.

Good luck.
You'll lose all yer benefits & healthcare hey

Many Americans may never receive an Old Age pension cheque cuz their Social Security is running outta money.
Plus Alberta & Saskatchewan will just exchange one tyrannical master for another. Ottawa for Washington DC.
Only the 2nd one will treat you even worse & steal even more of your wealth to finance the USA's $37 trillion national debt.
Don't forget the waves of Mexicans & Haitians coming too. You'll double yer population, but full of them.
Get a Reality check before ya plan ta separate, hey Herm?
I keep getting alerts from some Joe fella. Anybody know who he is.
I cannot read his posts. He is a stranger to me.

Jo Jo you silly adorable goose. You will lose your health care and benefits if the tyrannical regime you voted for forces the prarie provinces out. They pay for Canada's inadequate health care and CPP.
Alberta and Saskatchewan will use the tens of billions of dollars they are forced to give to Quebec for the best health care and pension plan on the continent.

Canada becomes a third world shithole overnight when we join the US. The Hati of the North.
The US gets even richer.

I reckon your assessment nailed it and of course it would be best if at the end of the day you enjoyed the protections that being a part of the US would bring. My point remains though; in order for you to get statehood, you must necessarily aim for independence first.
Otherwise you know exactly what the lefties will be screaming; it will be cast as an act of war on the US's part. Going for the independence option has the advantage of showing in concrete and indisputable manner that you are prepared to stand on your own two feet, something a bunsinessman like Trump will appreciate. You do that and I imagine Trump will be there with an offer practically as expeditiously as Vladimir Putin's was for Crimea when they decoupled from Ukraine. If I recall correctly, they enjoyed an independence lasting 24 hours before Russia officially annexed them (much to the chagrin of leftie pundits the world over) so I can't imagine Saskatchewan or Alberta would be waiting very long, if at all.

Ahhh, don't worry about old grizzleguts there, he's only gimping out about you losing your healthcare. He conveniently forgets that you'll also be benefiting from the massively reduced Rx costs following Trump's deals with "Chyyynuh" who no doubt will be looking to stick places like Canaduh with the cost of profits lost under such a deal.
Swings and roundabouts my man, swings and roundabouts.

Joe has about six different things he trolls and derails with. The nonsense about US not having health care is one of of the ones we have all been forced to read thousands of times. Which is why I have him on ignore.

Well I don't login so that option isn't open to me. I don't mind foregoing that luxury though, so long as I get to sodomize his gay ass with a mattock at will and with extreme prejudice.

Jo Jo told me after I fucked him that he doesn't believe it himself.
He likes attention though. He thinks those same troll lines still work.

I am getting more and more involved in organizing and coordinating events in the prairie independence movement. There are different factions that want different final outcomes. But, what all the different factions accept is the need to first declare independence. Second would be to get the Trump administration to recognize it.
