...like many Canadians I hope the Edmonton Oilers win the Stanley Cup.
But in the back of my mind, there's always this nagging doubt that the outcome is fixed. That the NHL always an American team, particularly from the US sunbelt to win.
I dunno maybe Connor McDavid is a big enough draw that the League will finally let a Canadian team win.
We'll see. I'm hopeful. But at the same time skeptical.

Incidentally, that team that used to be in Arizona was moved to Utah, and its average attendance is only about 11,000 spectators a game. Even less than the struggling Arizona franchise that was abandoned

What kind of league management is that?
They could move it to Quebec, Saskatchewan or some Northern US city and fill up the rink.
I believe the Oilers have a better shot to win the cup than last year. Their lineup is slightly better stacked against the Panthers.
Jo Jo and I like Edmonton's outfits better.
