I found out recently why Canadian employers prefer hiring temporary foreign workers over Canadian citizens. The federal government provides a $3.50/hour subsidy on the wages of all TFW's. I don't have a link right now, but if I find one I will post it.

My contact in Illinois State Government tells me we give them cash money, food stamps, free healthcare, free school for their kids, etc. The money saved in pay costs many times that in state subsidies.

Do you mean illegal aliens? I am talking about Canada's temporary foreign worker system. It allows employers(usually in the hospitality industry) to petition the federal government to sponsor foreign workers(often from India or the Philippines) because they claim they cannot find local workers.
It is usually deceit. The reason employers prefer TFW's is because they are cheaper because Ottawa subsidizes their hourly wages.

Illegals too, but SPECIFICALLY, people with work visas/green cards that have low paying jobs get medicaid, food stamps, free shit for their kids, subsidized (cash) payments because of their low income, and if they dont qualify for Medicaid, and because they cant afford to pay, they simply use the hospital as primary care and the state writes off the bill!
