The Big Apple has the same problem that all of Canada has. There is not enough supply to meet the demand. The problem is worse in Canada because the federal government is inflating the demand with unsustainable immigration levels.

The governments should tax land hoarders.

Anyone who owns more than a home & 1 vacation home gets taxed progressively for each additional home. So by the time it reaches the 10th home rate us like 95%.

Anyone should be entitled to one nice home/vacation home at normal tax rates. But hoarders should be punished.

Some flexibility might be allowed for farms/estates if they employ hundreds of people and create jobs.

I don't know about Joe's ass cancer, but our provincial health care is so bad now that is what is happening to people with serious illnesses in Canada. They are dying from their diseases before they can get surgery or even see a specialist.

My wife and I have a contingency plan to get health care in Panama in case of an emergency. We know we will die waiting in my province.

A nice Canadian couple that stayed at the campground/RV dealer I worked at came down at least once a year for medical services which they paid for out of pocket because the wait time in Canada was so horribly long. And yet a lot more people died in the USA during the Pandemic than Canada Lokmar.

Canada was like 3x less per capita deaths than the USA. And 75% of the deaths occurred in 1/3 of the country. So most of Canada was spared the worst of the Pandemic Lokmar. Other than 3 provinces Canada didn't get hit by Covid like the USA did.

I am a cancer survivor. The first thing I did after my operation was buy US health insurance for the old lady and I.

I should have said after I recovered from my cancer surgery I bought US hospital insurance.

 Joe my 19 year old made a really good friend in some game she enjoyed a lot. They got pretty close. They would chat a lot. He was a year older than her.  They were close for around 4 years. All platonic of course.

 He was diagnosed with a brain tumor. Without going into details....had he been here in MI, he would have had more treatment options and it would have been acted on much faster.

 Since he was in Canada, he was given a booklet on how to die.

 The way my daughter was so outraged and crushed that this boy was just gonna die and that was that.   

 They gave him that booklet on how to die and that was that and her seeing this play out in a way that touched her life completely altered how she viewed the world.  The reality that the doctors and the government were just going to let this boy die flipped a switch in her brain that will never unflip.

 She just could not believe this was how it was gonna be for that boy. She had a rage and desire for justice sparked in her after this.

 She started reading more and more into Canadas health care system and saw one horrifying case after the next. 

 And god help whoever tries to tell that girl universal healthcare in the states is a good idea. I saw her hold her 22 year old friend hostage for almost the whole night until he gave up his communism lol.  This kid is kind of a big simp who is hopelessly friendzoned so it wasnt TOO hard for her to slap the Marx out of him lol.
