The SCOTUS is desperate to avoid 2A issues but the states like illinois keep passing retarded laws so eventually, they'll be forced into it or the 2A will be dead.
BTW, several states have passed laws making it illegal to own firearms and be an alcoholic. Its illegal to carry when drinking too.
