Title: Is snow falling normal in Alberta?

It is my first spring in Alberta and the weather was very nice in Edmonton two weeks ago. Now it has been snowing and it is cold. Is thhis weather normal in April for Alberta? How long is the winter in Alberta? I ask these questions because I know some on this forum live in Alberta. I am visiting a friend who has parents who have a farm in Innisfail and he was going to teach me to drive a motorcycle in the dirt but the snow is covering the trail. I was looking forward to this activity.

It is supposed to be in the high teens towards the end of the week here in Edmonton. ac_dance

I am used to west coast weather. I will be happy when it is warmer next week. The sun has come out now and I am going for a walk in the snow. I heard coyotes barking this morning. Maybe I will see them and take pictures. My friend does not want to go out. He is playing a video game called Minecraft. I do not play video games. I will take pictures in my walk and show them later.

We have stopped for fuel in Innisfail, but I don't know the little town Tatterdamelion.
