Hay-fever hits me every May. It's the pollen.

A friend of my husband gets allergies around August every year..

^ As a kid I had serious summer allergies .. ragweed etc combined with serious asthma. (lived in country with unattended fields around us). After 2 years of weekly bum shots they disappeared and never came back. No asthma either now

On a serious note, allergy sufferers really do suffer. I don't have them now but I do have a constant year round sinus congestion that won't quit. Had a cleanout several years ago and it lasted a few years .. but is returning now
N-america seems to be diseased place judging by the number of pill heads in these 2 forums..

Yes but not as bad as I do in the spring.
I remember when I had that sensation a few years ago. I am about to swallow and then it's like I can't. That was disturbing. I was wondering what was wrong. It's like something was preventing me from being able to swallow. It was freaking me out. I don't have that problem now. Very weird.
