(The woman trying to get her off the stage is federal transport minister Lisa Raitt)

I'd say drunk, but who cares anyway? She's a fucking idiot.

Oddly enough, she was asked by a reporter today if she was going to resign.

NO was her answer

Funny, whenever I hear the name Elizabeth May, I think of my friend and fellow author.

I use it often to look up things I wish to know.

Perhaps the sarcasm in my question was too obtuse for you.

Nah. Let me save you the trouble.

The sign on the door says "The Blue Cashew". That was a deliberate move to separate from the old ACC raison d'etre...to denote that the forum was not about Asian Canadians, Asians...or even Canadians.

Its a multicultural forum.

But it seems old habits die hard. Which is fine. Apparently Van fails to provide enough of a platform to discuss all things Canadian, so by all means, let's change the name to The Blue Canadian.

Oh, by the way...by my count, 6 of the top ten current posters in the forum are not Canadian.

You have Finns, Australians, Americans, Koreans and one "Refused To State".

I have attempted many times, as you know, to start threads that are non-political, non cultural and all inclusive.

Please don't lay that on me.

Its becoming clear that Canadians just want to be Canadians...and that's OK. I thought this place was not going to be a carbon copy of Van...where the Canadian theme is part of its DNA, and so is perfectly reasonable to expect. It may as well have retained the old name...its a Canadian forum.

So, let's not pretend otherwise and move on.

I don't know what SPECTRE is bitching about. This forum isn't excessively Canadian-centric. There's only ONE hockey thread.

Jeez.. We need to get females off politics..

Think about it...

Theres no other reason than some motherly instinct to take these useless sand-n__gers, somalians etc. in.

And they are speaking about foreign aid like our treasuries were filled with riches... We cant even take care of our elderly, disabled and pets like Romero.

And I suppose all those male politicians, including your president, are powerless to stop the females from implementing their evil immigration plans?

I doubt that.

I'd like to see you try being a politician. Finns would be aghast at your policies and no politician or voter would want anything to do with you.

You're racist and sexist. An inferior male.

It only takes one screw-up like that to ruin your chances of ever being Prime Minister. Her political career is finished imo.

It's not like she ever had a hope hell of being PM anyway. She''ll likely continue to win her seat on Vancouver Island where nobody wants any industrial development.

Not as a Green Party leader, but I thought if she switched parties there might be a chance. She could have played the first female PM card. She'll probably keep winning her seat, but I'd be a little embarrassed having her as my MP now.

What she said was tasteless and stupid. However, I am finding myself in the rather unusual position of defending someone I cannot stand.

People, including our elected reps. say stupid things when they drink. Liz May is no exception. I don't want to be like GBB, searching every obscure headline for a GOP member who said a naughty word.

It wasn't the naughty word that offended me. It was the way she took over the role of judge and gave millions of people the finger just because they prefer to be cautious and won't give Khadr their unconditional support. Apparently she knows better.

Yeah. In that sense she's not so different from Harper, except maybe her judgement is not quite as good.

She's a lot rougher around the edges than Harper/Mulcair. However, if someone does NOT like me I want them to be honest with me. The leaders of the three big parties seem incapable of that.
