It's getting some good reviews:
What U2 understands is intimacy, the art of making things personal. For what was effectively a completely over-the-top slice of state-of-the-art rock theatre, it was also a performance with real heart, which reached out to an eager audience and fully involved them in U2's strange and actually rather wonderful world.
The Edge got so close to the crowd that he fell off the stage during encores, scrambling back unhurt. Mind you, there was so much else going on, I don't think most of the 20,000 strong audience even noticed.
