Title: How to be cool - help wanted

Without comments of pity or apology, I need some fun advice.  I am currently needing to use a cane (my back is being a biatch to my right leg).  How can I be cool while using a walking implement?  A top hat and tap shoes?  That's all I got.

Get a staff. Do a flame job on it. It can double as a weapon or if you want to break out into a pole dance. You could wear a wizards hat.

Use an aluminum tube. Something like part of a pool brush/net. Cut it to length and have someone cap the open end. Cut it a few inches taller than you are. Actually you could cap it with a dragon head or something like that.

You probably could have gotten something acceptable at that medieval festival you mentioned last weekend.



Or would something like that be considered a weapon in Canada? If so you will probably need a licence to purchase a stick.

When I fractured my hip a few years ago, I used a really nice cane with butterflies on it. Got a lot of compliments. Only thing I needed was maybe a hidden pop out nail on the bottom for a holes who would shove me because they were in a hurry. I would have jammed it into their foot and then retract it and act like nothing......Nahh I wouldn't do that but it was fun to imagine!

Oh! There's foldup walking canes on Amazon! They're pretty plain black though and don't have a retractable nail....
