These last couple of years, whenever I've had a beer or glass of wine or mixed drink, I'd sip it slowly.
But not so with the Bacon Vodka Caesar.
Sun June 28 I got one for the first time, and it was so good I drank it within seconds.
Mon June 29 I got two, and drank them within seconds. Then, in the middle of the night, I got cravings so bad that I had to have a few sips of mouthwash to calm me down. It was the first time in three years I had mouthwash.
Tue June 30 I got two more bacon vodka caesars, and drank them within seconds. Several hours later, I went to an AA meeting, and was hoping to talk about my situation, but before the meeting started, I got into a bit of an altercation with a couple of members with long-term sobriety. I threw candy at one, and coffee at another, then ran away and didn't come home to check my answering machine until midnight.
Today (Canada Day, of all days) I left home at 8:45am and am not gonna check my answering machine again until midnight. I'm gonna try to keep it together.
