Wouldn't it kill the nutrients if you fried it?

Hello Dove, it doesn't seem like if it is to be a bacon substitute.
I smell a scam...
Does it smell like bacon?!
Yes. But it tastes like seaweed with additives.
It's a dulse. I've had dulse. I'll eat it.

The miracle seaweed is a fast-growing strain of red marine algae called dulse (Palmaria sp.), which grows wild along the Atlantic and Pacific coastlines and looks a lot like translucent red lettuce.
Scientists already knew that it was packed with antioxidants and vitamins, and contains up to 16 percent protein in dry weight, but usually it's harvested and sold dry as a cooking ingredient or nutritional supplement in Europe. But over the past 15 years, scientists at Oregon State University in the US have created a new strain that can be farmed, and they've found that it also has some unique taste benefits.
"There hasn't been a lot of interest in using it in a fresh form," lead researcher Chris Langdon says in a press release. "But this stuff is pretty amazing. When you fry it, which I have done, it tastes like bacon, not seaweed. And it's a pretty strong bacon flavour."

Was it fried like bacon asal?
How did it taste?
There are packages of dulse snacks sold in the fish department of regular supermarkets:

It just tastes like salty, dried sea weed.
There were a lot of uses of sea weed in Japan also. Lots of different salads and sea weed is often added to soup - hijiki salad was common:

I tried making kale chips twice / once with plain oil and seasoning, the second time with lemon and tahini and seasoning. It didn't taste good. I like store bought kale chips. Can you share your recipe?

Make sure the kale is organic. Wash it, let it dry. Toss it in a bowl with olive oil. Toss whatever spice in there you wish. Now spread it out on a cookie sheet or tin foil, don't overlap the pieces, bake it 400....or broil it on high. Take it our when it's still a bit tender and let it sit out for a while until it's crispy/chewy. Enjoy lol
And don't use tahini like that anymore, okay? Lol. Seriously though.....you can make a lemon tahini dip for the kale chips when they are done....but not cooking it right on the chips.

^I'll try again just with oil & salt and cook them as you directed. In my two (2) attempts, some of them were burnt, some were soggy - I'll follow what you said (not overlapped, dry them properly, cook at 400).
I really love these kale chips you get at the store out here - $7/bag
They have tahini on them, that's why I tried a recipe like that - but it sucked.
This is my favourite, Kale Krunch tarragon dijon flavour. SOOOOOOO yummy. $6.99 each :(

ingredients: Kale*, Cashews*, Sesame Seeds*, Apple Cider Vinegar*, Lemon Juice*, Mustard Powder*, Coconut Palm Sugar*, Nutritional Yeast, Himalayan Salt, Tarragon*, Tumeric*, and Blessings from Colin the chicken. *Organic
That's a lot of stuff in those! Yeah make sure you use olive oil. Extra virgin double pressed is what I use. And take them out when they are still a bit tender and let them sit. It helps. They gotta dry out really good. It's expensive to buy them....I've been making my own batches since before I ever knew you could buy them at Trader Joe's lol
