What smoothies have you been making?

None.  I like to eat my calories rather than drink them.

I said the same thing you did until a friend lent me her blender and I can't get enough of it. I am still learning to drink kale, cucumber, spinach but I know it's good for me so I learned to get over my dislike for it. My favorite ones are the fruits of course. You have to try it, RW. I'll share some recipes here later and when you get around to it and offer some to your children, they will probably enjoy it too, especially the ones with crushed ice.

Everything is natural, no sugar added because the ingredients are already naturally sweet. For liquid, you may add water, kefir which is drinkable yogurt, and you may even add skim milk and cottage cheese.

You may also add green tea as a liquid to the mix. Oh my, it goes well with the green stuff.

The greens I've blended that I have enjoyed: kale, cucumber, avocado, spinach, frozen white grapes, green tea. Yum!

This is kombucha or fermented sweetened green/black tea. It also goes well in your smoothie, especially with a hint of ginger.

Green smoothie with kale and fruits.

This is good, it really is. The banana is what makes it bearable for me and the berries too. Surprisingly, avocado is really yummy in a smoothie especially if you add frozen diced mangoes and peaches. Oh my. When I say frozen, I mean fresh fruits that you dice yourself and freeze in your freezer.

My favourite secret one is frozen peaches with soymilk - then add whatever protein powder, sometimes I put cocoa powder.  Frozen peaches blend into ice cream-like texture - it's unbelievably good.

I don't know.  It's not from here (I think they import them from south america, but I don't know if it's grown other places).

//https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/A%C3%A7a%C3%AD_palm

//http://acaiology.com/acai-berries-amazon/

^Those two (2) pages don't mention if it's only available seasonally.  They say that acaii come from a palm tree.  It looks like they're grown in south america and trinidad (but not tobago).

p.s. sometimes the internet is soooo repetitive when you try to look for information - they just keep repeating the same things over and over.

Acaii tastes pretty good and it's got a lot of antioxidants.  That's pretty much what the internet wants us to know.
