Post by: the shark hunter on August 25, 2015, 09:13:15 PM
... after avoiding doing so for so long i've decided i'm going to vote for prime minister stephen harper and the conservative government this year in the federal election ...

... but will i be eligible to vote? what are the requirements for voting? is it necessary to register in advance to vote ?

... can you please explain to me how the voting process works?

Harper? He's responsible for the chemtrails, man!

You do need to register and you'll need some ID with your current address. There are some other options such has having a registered voter vouch for you, showing a bill with your current address and you can vote by mail. Here are a couple of links that will give you all the info:

... you are correct not to vote, Fashionista.  i usually don't vote either, but i thought i'd make an exception this time as a thank you to the government for concluding a longstanding tax issue ...

... actually, i was hoping to hear that all i needed to do is show up at a polling station with proper identification ...

I will vote to reelect the Conservative MP in my riding. It's not that I like them, but they are least bad option. At least they will fight for workers in the resource industry. The NDP will fight against them.
