An aluminum coated sleeping bag shaped shelter with reversible digital camo and bright orange good on land and just as good if you're capsized out at sea.

interesting.  nice that it gives you shelter - even in water.

portable, waterproof, retains heat.

it'd be good if it could fold up small so it could be carried around.

I wonder if it could work as a sleeping bag for hikers.

There was a police manhunt the other week nearby and the choppers were doing low level FLIR sweeps for what seemed like ages. It reminded me about those blankets. Definitely not something law enforcement would like to see plenty of about.  ac_biggrin

There were some trials or testimonials at the site about using them in moderate cold with full clothing on. Maybe ok between the 5-15c range with clothing or 10-20c without? I'm not sure, myself.

They would need to make it for colder temperatures before the Canadian army purchases any.
