Have you tried baby food? When my daughter is in hospital and she's on a liquid/soft food diet, she has jarred baby food. All it is is pureed fruits and veggies. She had a tube a couple times through her nose to her stomach and fed her that way with Boost supplement drinks. Can your stomach handle protein drinks or just bland stuff?
If we were a bit closer i could bring her some purified Chef boy R DEE Ravioli. mmmmm yummy

Some hospitals have really crappy foods but some like VGH recently have gone a major overhaul and improved their food. My daughter has been in 5 different hospitals and VGH is not too bad. Next would be Ridge Meadows. I don't know about the Interior and other areas though.
I think the Hospital that RW is in has good food it just she cant have that food right now. Broth only.
