There are the Jews, the atheists, the muslims, the buddhists, and everyone else who don't celebrate Christmas. It's so easy to forget that but I also know many people who are not Christians who have no problem observing Christmas also by wishing everyone else a Merry Christmas. Consider a Jewish person going Christmas shopping for his/her Christmas-celebrating friends. Funny I don't do that for my Jewish friends.
I invited someone to a Holiday concert and she said, "Thanks for the invitation but that is not my holiday so I will not be attending" even though the concert had Jewish songs and secular songs as well and not just Christmas songs. Sigh.
I never had to worry about all of these when I was growing up in the Philippines because the majority celebrated Christmas. The only evident groups were the Catholics and the Protestants. However, today, we have communities all over the USA and Canada that have people from all sorts of religious backgrounds and of course, everyone wants to be accommodated.

I don't care if anyone is offended. I say Merry Christmas and I am not even an xtian. It's the tradition in this country, it's fun and if anyone has a problem with that, too fucking bad.

I've gone over all the ingredients I will need for Christmas day and it seems I have everything. However, I keep getting this feeling that I have forgotten something either for my house or what I am taking to Daddy's place on Christmas day. We're having my son and his baby momma over for opening presents and then have finger foods tomorrow. I made trays of veggies and dip, nachos with different dips and a cheese, cracker, ham and pickle platter. Oh and I made a dessert platter with cookies, muffins and brownies. I baked my ass off the last few days lol. The beer fridge is stocked with wine, beer, cranberry juice and pop. We're having our Christmas dinner on Boxing Day with an Uncle and cousin we haven't seen for a long time.Quote from: "GrAnnie"

I just finished slow cooking a ham, sliced it up for tomorrow's tray and for Christmas dinner. I enjoy making trays, soo much cheaper to do on your own. And this way too I know for sure all the veggies get washed.Quote from: "GrAnnie"

Happy Holidays to everyone. Christmas Eve, I'll be watching the Raiders/Charger football game probably solo. Christmas Day, I'll be going over to Ruthann's for dinner.
