They claim it is not diverse enough for them this year. Butt hurt actors with big egos did not get nominated so they will not attend. Who cares.

I don't understand why this is even an issue in this day and age?  If an actor deserves a nomination, he/she should get one.  There shouldn't be a need to "diversify".

If the Academy isn't recognizing black actors who deserve credit, then they should review the process.

I believe from what I saw on tmz that their playing favorites and passing actors who should have been nominated and it was mostly black people. The ones who were actually nominated and won shouldn't have according to the other black actors and celebraties.

If black actors are in movies for that year that are not very good, then audition for better roles next year. It's not a conspiracy against Will Smith.

I am more inclined to be of the same mind as Ms. Rampling. I doubt the black race had anything to do with the selection of worthy performances, not that this is an award show that deserves the attention of the world stage.

By the way, I've been a fan of Charlotte Rampling from the moment I set eyes on her. She has a rare beauty. I thought she was very hot as a young woman. She has aged but she's still beautiful to me. I hope her acting is worthy of the award. I have yet to see her movie.
