I don't like songs to wake me up. A noisy alarm tone gets me out of bed.

I don't sleep, so I'm always awake.

An alarm would just piss me off......more.

He knows way better than that. He howls and cries at the same time every morning. Pretty sure he can't tell time, so how does he know? It's got to be the light level. No DLST here so maybe that's why he's accurate most mornings.

It's an internal biological clock that most animals and even humans have. My dogs do the same thing. They start getting active every morning between 4:30 and 5:00AM, DLST or not.

When I'm sleeping in my wellsite trailer, my phone wakes me up. When I'm at home, the old lady wanting a good Hermanating wakes me up.

What woke me this morning was a coyote caught in a farmer's fence at the edge of the lease.

Are you sure it wasn't just two cats "hermanating"?

I am not an egg head like you. Is it Hermanating or Hermanizing? Whatever it is, it wakes me up when I'm home. Not that I mind.

I think they are both correct depending on useage.

The present tense would be "hermanating"; as in...."Go away, don't bother me, I'm "hermanating".

The past tense would be "hermanizing"; as in....." Yesterday my 3 year old interrupted me while I was "hermanizing".

Either way they are both forms of the word " hermanate"; meaning the act of "hermanation". :001_rolleyes:

I can't believe I just wrote that. I really need to get a life. :laugh3: :oeudC:

There is something about Herman and a wand that makes a really odd visual.   :nea:

Something tells me Herman is not exactly the magic wand type. :laugh3:

I set an alarm for every fifteen minutes from 6am on weekdays,  but more often than not, I wake to the sounds of my children bickering or getting ready, or coming in to say good morning to me.

I'm usually woken by a cat meowing for food (when the bowl is empty/half full) or when one of them jumps on me, lands on my face and digs in his toenails into my head every 5 friggin minutes. And it's the biggest fattest one too  acc_angry
