But at what point does being critical of the deeds, actions, culture, activities and values of another race become "racism"?
It is stupid to insult another person because of their race, creed, culture or religion.
It is NOT stupid to criticise said race, creed, culture or religion. It is not only permissible, it is healthy.
Progressive socialist governments have narrowed down the term racism to now mean "offending". If I tell a muslim that I find his religion abhorrent, and the acts carried out in its name barbaric, he will unquestionably be offended.
But am I wrong? Have I broken a law?
And what of his actions when he speaks of sharia law, encroaching on MY culture? Should I be offended.
Racism is too often use to stifle free speech. In fact, I will go further to say that I have rarely seen true racism on display in this forum. The fact that I do not, for example, like Afghans because of their conduct and mediaeval culture, is not racism. I am entitled to a personal opinion on such issues.
I happen to like and admire Chinese people. They are hard working, disciplined and sociable. And proud of their country.
I do not like North Koreans. They are repressed fools, enduring a bizarre dictatorship that sends rocket into space while starving its citizens.
So, am I a racist.
More importantly....do I really care?

That is true, but they do not have the right to own property on reserves like other Canadians enjoy. Housing and how it is distributed is another way some corrupt 1 percenter chiefs abuse their power.
A lot of things in the Indian Act are simply outdated.

I can understand why most Canadians feel reserves get too much money and there's too little accountability for it. Same goes for the solid and growing majority that believe Aboriginals are responsible for their own problems. Most Canadians including myself are ignorant of what is in the Indian Act. Some of seems designed to keep First Nations people in poverty.
Aboriginal poverty is a black eye for Canada. When the Idle movement started I thought the intentions were sound, but like so many similar movements the message was all over the place and it was taken over by those with an agenda that does not include lifting Aborigninals on reserves out of the poverty cycle.
