I was in Calgary in May on business. My hotel seemed fairly busy. The parking lot was near full.

I would think so. House prices have dropped and there are more rental vacancies.

Our premier is not trying to make the pain worse like your premier is.


Resource prices are depressed in large part due to interference and meddling by the USA. They want those prices low, because that's the only way the US economy can hum and stay #1. Despite them saying they want to rid themselves of oil, their economy is just as dependent upon it as it ever has been. And all those wars/conflicts they start in the Middle East are about the oil.



It's all about the oil, Herm. Just like Trump is a front & the US presidential election is a sham intended to reinforce the status quo.

Alberta's problem is not the USA, it's Rachel Notley. Our economy is dependent on oil and potash, but we do not have a premier making a bad situation worse. Alberta will recover when the NDP is out.
