....works just fine. Someone gave me an older laptop with XP so I thought I'd use it.
Installed older Adobe apps like Photoshop and Illustrator on it. Was gonna put Office xp and other stuff on it too. Actually XP fully loaded with all the apps is a nice complement to a Mac. Do the lower end stuff on a PC, and stuff that needs more horsepower or higher end graphics apps on a Mac.
Truth be known, I don't think there was ever a need for a Windows 7. Every time I've used it, it's noticeably slow, buggy and it crashes often - very often. Even a newer pc optimized for it. XP? Comparatively speaking, hardly ever.
If people wanted a 64 bit Windows, they should've just released an official 64 bit version of Windows XP. I know there was a version of it floating around somewhere so I'd like to try it out sometime.
