Becoming a mom changed my outlook on life. I expect having grand children will change my views again.
The book Anarchy, State and Utopia by Robert Nozick completely changed my values.
My job has changed the way I see the world. And a cynical perspective it is.
Switching from steam to diesel will do that.

How illiterate people perceive things
What people who weren't born or raised in the U.S. think about our way of life
How most women make important decisions (I'm still working on this one)
How innocent minds like children and simple people make decisions with regards to their peers.

I think I'm flexible, too. It seems if I compare myself at every past decade I had an entirely different mindset.
I was a harsh pessimist as a teenager; now I'm optimistic to a fault.
It's not uncommon for people's mindsets to evolve as they age shin.
