It might be privileged information, but can I ask what your surgery was?
I had a rhizotomy. They stuck a giant needle in my face and used a laser to kill parts of the trigeminal nerve. Half my face is numb now but I don't have any pain.

As soon as he finished his probation he requested a leave of absence to go travelling and they gave it to him. He was away from work longer than the time they agreed to, but somehow he was able to bullshit his way back into his job. He got lucky.
He has an apartment in Regina with his Aussie girlfriend. She has found a job too. They seem to be doing fine which is a big relief to me and my ex wife. I hope it lasts.
