That don't happen to often, but sometimes a server gets buggy, and they likely rebooted the thing.

I would say the server needs a backup system.

Awful to tell the truth, I was up till about 7am with my neck, and still didn't sleep much.

I'm medically retired, but was working for Ford. It was all good till I got hurt, now I make no money .

I worked a lot, and saved so my pension is alright.

Not here, its not looked on as a therapy yet.

All my posts from yesterday have disappeared without explanation. Could it be Chinese fifth columnists in Canada had a hand in this? It looks that way.

It had to do with the server and not a Chinese conspiracy Lotus Leaf..

I swear I saw an explanation somewhere. What was the thread called? "Many posts were deleted yesterday" or something like that.

The host was doing something to the servers. Before they did that they backup the databases. After they backup the databases people were still making new posts, so when they restored the databases from the databases that they backed up, anything posted after the backup were over written with whatever they backed up.
