It's fucking cold here. Like -30's with windchill all fucking week. It's supposed to warm about 10 degrees this week, but still below normal.

It's been about the same temperatures in Manitoba. We have more snow than Alberta I think.

Except for in the mountains. Banff and Jasper have lots of fucking snow.

I saw that one dump of snow that hit Southern Manitoba. Fuck, that was a lot of snow.

We are lucky enough to be citizens of a great nation in which to live. Temperatures a little colder than normal will not change that.

I am on a workover job near Kindersley. That means a lot of time outside unlike on a drilling rig. Man it was cold with a strong wind. Must have been minus thirty with windchiil.

This is EXACTLY why, when my Grandfather came to Canada in 1956, he realized shortly thereafter that he should've chose the US.

He admitted, and the rest of us know we'd be happier there.  He liked moderate temps by the sea, so San Francisco would've probably been his choosing.

Oh well...

We're German.

We don't really like Native Indians.  They cause problems that we aren't allowed to solve anymore.

Too many Indian problems in Winny...

That, and the climate and geography is shit.

San Fran would've been far better than Van...  which is far better than Winnipeg.

Canada fucking sucks.

I wanna be out there having fun, in the warm California sun.

New York took the rest, but we had to land in Halifax.

Ugh. Its only -1 celsius (30 F) and I'm ill and shivering.

You're right. We people on the West Coast are weak.

And that's why are hockey teams are too.

All we get are bunch of soppy Swedes playing for the Canucks who punch the clock, and punch out when they don't make the playoffs. And then they  go golfing when the season ends early for them. They come here for the mild weather, except they don't show up to play

Southern California is nice but its too crowded now and there's too much air pollution. If the air was cleaner I might consider living there. That's one place where the electric car should replace all gas guzzlers.

It's OK, Joe.  I'd then move back to the Seattle condo in the summer...

Finally, a break in the deep freeze. It was windy today, but 20 degrees milder.

It looks like we are going to have mild weather until December 27. How is the weather out West? Is it still really cold?
