It's been really frickin cold in Saskatchewan too. It's always cold here in December, but this is cold even by our standards.

This is EXACTLY why, when my Grandfather came to Canada in 1956, he realized shortly thereafter that he should've chose the US.
He admitted, and the rest of us know we'd be happier there. He liked moderate temps by the sea, so San Francisco would've probably been his choosing.

Southern California is nice but its too crowded now and there's too much air pollution. If the air was cleaner I might consider living there. That's one place where the electric car should replace all gas guzzlers.

Finally, a break in the deep freeze. It was windy today, but 20 degrees milder.
It looks like we are going to have mild weather until December 27. How is the weather out West? Is it still really cold?
In the single digits here in the GVRD, but not freezing anymore...
