Title: As 2016 draws to a close, my predictions for 2017.

Trumps first year will see turmoil and dissent in the US, but their economy will surge.



Australia will have another PM, when the incumbent is dumped by his own party.



ISIS will concentrate in Syria.



Climate change will be rebuked as a leftist program of wealth distribution, and the various "accords" such as Paris 21 will be abandoned by the West.



Other European nations will leave the EU, heralding its final demise as anything but an economic bloc.



Right wing governments will sweep through Europe.



Muslims will be re-patriated from many western countries.



There will be a major muslim terrorist attack in France.



NK will detonate another nuke.



Cuba will renounce Communism.

I wouldn't bet money on it, but I will agree that some items on the list are a real possibility...

Interesting list Oberon..



I predict the first phase of our provincial carbon tax that is effective as of January 1 will be painful for all Albertans and will not do what is it is supposed to and stop the climate from changing.

By piling on deficit upon deficit, year after year, for as far as the eye can see?



Yeah, I agree, there will be a bump, but it will all be fake growth, no different from the artificial Leftist stimulus programs of the Obama administration.



It'll be the equivalent of running up a massive credit card bill. It'll all look great until the bill comes due.



Massive tax breaks for the top 1% of the US population? Hmm, sounds like a recipe for a huge concentration of wealth for them and a destruction of the middle class.



A true reformer would raise the tax rates on the 1%.

The Iron Chinl's predictions for 2017;



1. More taxpayer money squandered on "green" energy, carbon taxes that will benefit the wealthiest friends of governments and hurt average people the most. Of course it will have no affect on climate.

2. The economy in Canada will continue to struggle as we will go another year without access to international markets and prices for our number one export.

3. More fucking immigrants from the muddle East will come to Canada as refugees.

4. Anti-establish,ent populism will grow across Europe, but they will fall short in French and German elections.

5. More Islamic acts of terror across Europe and North America. The RCMP will crack a terror cell.
