Title: My dog at a dog meetup
Post by: Vancouver on March 10, 2013, 05:41:52 PM
Today I took my maltese to a meetup for small dogs. She had lots of fun.

I want a Warg

I always had a fondness for German Shepard's, but never had one. My Grandmother had one named Rusty, he was so huge, but so gentle.

We raised Siberian Huskies for years, now I like those dogs a lot, but they are a lot of work.

They want to run, and dig out a lot, not to mention killing everything they could, even a cow once, and pet chicken once.

THis is Benji, a Maltese, and Kodiak, he was the best friend ever.

He won best in show a lot of times, and won so many also. Kodiak was a gentle giant of a dog, and lived 17 years till he died in my arms one rainy night.

It took a lot to get over that, and I don't think I really did since I'm tearing up right now.

Benji would have been a good boyfriend to Vancouver Guys pooch :)

No way?? Keep him at the neighbour's when I come over for a visit. I don't want him sinking his teeth into my big beautiful round ass. You can do it, but not the dog.

You better wish for the dog.

You know where I´m gonna take you...

To the eastern border... The cottage is surrounded by thick snow and wolves coming from Russia. There´s no escape except with me.

You will sit in front of me on the snowscooter... I don´t trust you to behave properly in the back. I´d have to spank you more and I just don´t have time since the generators have to be started and the fire built.

After that though...

A snowscooter? I think that is a snowmobile correct? I have been on one once, but many, many times on a a quad. They are a lot of fun too.

Anyway, my turn to say nighty night.

It is called a snowmobile or a snowscooter.

Quads are fun but snowmobiles require more skill and muscle to steer in a thick snow with no trail on it.

It is fun. :)

Sleep well, asian queen. ;)

Snowmobiles are more practical in other parts of Canada than they are here Mr Odinson..

You have to drive long distances just to use them..

In small town Kootenay region British Columbia, people just drive them right from their yard.

There are lots of places in Canada you could do that, but Calgary isn't one of them.

They ride them on frozen lakes where I live. Excellent snowmobile trails a little North of here.

I spent the weekend in Whistler one Autumn. The whistler outdoor adventures offers several different snowmobile experiences. There were like two different ones for beginners. I did a beginners one with my friend. It was kind of fun. The one we did we couldn't drive all that fast. It was not the speeding kind. We were following an instructor. Driving around maybe 40km/h. Had to lean your body to turn. The edge is right next to ya. If you're an idiot you'll drive off and fall to your doom. I was trying to film some footage at one point with my pocket camcorder. I hit my friend's snowmobile and the camera went flying into the snow. I got off to get it and then the snowmobile started sliding backwards. Luckily I was quick. The instructor didn't see a thing. He was in front of my friend.

I don't own a snow machine myself VG, but I have operated them on the trails and lakes in Ontario several times. Always have a blast especially on the trails. One time I came with a foot of a head on collision with another snowmobile. I occasionally go ice fishing with some buddies too and we travel out to the hut by snowmobile. You can really open up the machine on the ice. First time I did I wasn't dressed properly and paid the price for it by barely being able to move my frozen limbs by the end of the day. Oh well, it is so much fun I would go out again in my Speedo.
