What are or were your favourites? I liked Scrabble, trivial Pursuit and Monopoly in that order.

I would go with Monopoly and Scrabble. Play/Played more card games than board games. Also play moon and 42 domino games.

Yep!  In Britain they call it Cluedo.

Yeah it's a card game but Yahtzee is a dice game and I don't see you giving it the gears.
