Mariah Carey, a serial offender who lip synchs her live shows, made a mess of a "performance" at some NYE event in the US.



Wasn't her fault, apparently.



She was SABOTAGED.

Much of Hollywood, and the music industry also, is like this...



It's all about "looks"...



Kurt Cobain had a very real problem with this, and refused to "bow down"...  However, most people will "bow down," and do what they're told.  That is what gets them their million dollar incomes...

Just as George Lucas once opined that real actors would soon be redundant, live acts may soon become unnecessary. Digitized voices, digitized faces, digitized books, digitized games... it doesn't matter; if you give people what they want, you'll make real money. Without ever having to touch coinage or polymer notes, of course.

I saw Creed in concert about fifteen years ago..



It was a very disappointing performance..



I wish they had've lip synched the show.

I saw Gwen Stephani in the summer.  She was live.  She doesnt go super high notes just hip hop and some rap...she was a delight and joy to see...constantly around the stage and lots of talking to the audience....she even pulled a few people on stage and took selfies with them on their phones....Gwen a great lady!

Not very many of them have actual talent..Rianah is good for just being a whore...cant be that forever...Drakes music really really sucks...the guy CANNOT sing....theres just so many of them and they act horrible...



...only thing I listen to is classical....i have cds with water falls, dripping, rushing....or birds chirping with flutes etc etc...I prefer that over new age shit.

I was dragged to a Hole (Courtney Love) concert here in Van years ago...



Even after being pulled off the stage, and passed around unwillingly, which she made quite clear she did NOT appreciate, she continued on with the show.



NO lip syncing.  Pure performance.  Love her or hate her, I gained respect that day regarding the difference between a true musician, and simply a 'face" that "performs" to a pre-recorded track...
