I've worked outside doing dangerous work all my life and some of those jobs I disliked and was afraid of many but the patch is a special kind of hell. Men yelling, very loud motor noise, pipes clanking and cold dark. Always money, ask anyone that works there, it's about money, there is no cultural significance in the patch. People work there want to gain themselves, just rip shit out of the ground pay me and fuck you, see ya next week.

Nobody stays in the patch other than the people were born and lived there 12000 years before the rigs arrived but that don't matter, fuck them I got a family to feed in Edmonton and as soon as this shift is up go see them.

Looks like even Oscar is not loyal to MMB anymore. The owner went kind of nutty. It is an ugly place to be. I am done with these forums.

It's honest work and provides a service we all need and every bit as necessary as logging..



If you feel what my husband does not meet your moral standards, you should put your money where your mouth is and stop using any products made from petrochemical products..
