Title: How can illegal immigrants or their advocates contest

Their illegality or the legal enforcement of laws meant to address their illegality? Seems just bizarre to me.



Does that mean that anyone can ignore a law when they don't agree with it then scream bloody murder if they get caught? They're actually using the legal system to challenge the legal system after these same people violated the legal system.



I say deport the lot.

How could anyone who does not care about the well being of working families not have something to say about this betrayal. It's bad enough illegals are pouring in and driving down wages, but then they get social services, drivers licenses, voting and immunity from criminal activity. If I was an American I would be livid about this.

If somebody blatantly cut in front of others in a line at the supermarket, right up the front of a long line, the rest of the shoppers and even clerk objected but the line cutter refused to budge, what happens? The police are called if it gets out of hand.



Should the cops then admonish the rest and insist that the line cutter get first service? Should the line cutter get aggro if the cops ask them to leave or get to the back of the line?

IHJ is not in Canada illegally. I am not a frickin socialist, but I do get the point that so many illegal aliens/sanctuary cities cost the US taxpayer about $113 billion. Building a wall for $22 billion and enforcing deportation is a saving, but you can't get that through your thick skull. :laugh3:

As I pointed out, it can be argued that building the wall, deporting illegals is a big saving. Not to mention the fact the jobs they do would be replaced by legal migrant workers who do pay taxes. The US has got to do something about it's illegal alien problem.

You don't think there are better solutions for that kind of money?  Come on IHJ.  No one has yet produced any figures showing it's worth the money.  I keep asking why that's acceptable and nobody has given a valid reason.  Why accept a course of action not based on anything tangible?

Whilst I am not a great supporter of the "wall", if America thinks its necessary to protect its borders, that's America's business. What is so reprehensible about it?



It is abundantly clear that Mexicans have no respect for the border with the US, and that the Mexican government is complicit in pumping illegals over the border so that Yanqui dollars come flooding back. I remember saying years ago that America is being invaded by Mexicans, and that they will be forced to fight back. If they think a wall will work, build the damn thing. When the dollars stop flowing back into Mexico, their Government is going to have to pick up the tab.



What would Canada do if their border was constantly compromised by American citizens flooding in, taking Canadian jobs, welfare, education and health resources?

Physical barriers are nothing new. A few countries in Eastern Europe either have or will put up their own. The US needs to take control of it's Southern border. Mexicans do not have a special privilege to disobey US law.

I don't even compare Singapore to Hong Kong, because one has to pay for an army and a diplomatic service and another one does not. We have a province, Alberta that claimed it was debt free at one time. How can they possibly make that claim when the federal government had over six hundred billion in debt at the time(higher now).

Funny, I saw a chubby sunburned guy this morning on the beach with a metal detector. Watched him for 30 minutes or so. Looked like he was scoring. Walked over to ask him. He found some coins and a ring. The coins weren't worth much. The ring? Anyway he towed a house trailor from Alberta clear to C.R. Said it was nuts to do so. The states and Mexico, no prob. If the value of the pound is low for a long time, and their economy is stagnant the movement will be in the opposite direction back to places like Budapest, and Warsaw. That returning talent will boost demand in those countries too.



But, that is not what that Spencer fella was saying as I understand it. He is saying that Eastern Europe has balls and is the defender of European civilization. Western Europe has surrendered.

Im tired of hearing.."but this country was built on immigrants"...pathetic excuse.  We just cant keep letting in immigrant after immigrant just because...this needs to be done in time...we need to have jobs, infrastructure, places to live, better educational system, a better medical system...you cant just pile people in and expect miracles...existing citizens are not being helped and previous immigrants are being forgotten about while they only cater to new immigrants only puts problems on top of problems...people just dont think about this shit....how do you accomodate people when you dont have the room?

That is a really bad excuse. The country has changed. We don't need waves of immigrants to open the West to farming and build railroads. Work is a lot less labor intensive today. Iron horse jockey often argues that large scale immigration and refugee acceptance puts down ward pressure on wages. He is not wrong about that.

Im just giving my opinion.  Where I live there are so many condos, and narrow one lane street, too many cars and too many people...yet more on top of more keep piling in...theres not enough room in the class rooms, schools are too small, like zero funding for public schools...the roads are shit...theres nowhere to live...good jobs are hard to get and same with the crappy jobs....maybe they can all pile into your neck of the woods for the next 5 years Herman.

Berry, I was agreeing with you. That we need immigrants, the country was built on immigrants excuse for flooding the nation with too many immigrants and refugees does not wash anymore. We do not need the man power today like we did in the past.

Ya, I can see how I worded may have been interpreted the opposite of what I meant. The country is essentially full except for skilled workers. Those refugees crossing the border illegally should be turned around immediately. Let Trump deal with their scamming asses.

Some people argue that Canada still has "a lot" of land abd xan still accomodate mpre immigrants, but that land is covered in snow most of the year and is cold...unless immigrants want to live in igloos and have no jobs...not gonna happen.

Im ok with immigration and refugees but not on mass levels.  Im really getting tired of news articles posting stories of immigrants and refugees of their struggles abd how they made their way to Canada...how about stories of the homeless and those in poverty who are already struggling within this country??
