The ubiquitous Australian Brown snake...

"The eastern brown snake (Pseudonaja textilis), often referred to as the common brown snake, is a species of venomous elapid snake of the genus Pseudonaja. This snake is considered the world's second most venomous land snake based on its LD50 value (SC) in mice.[2][3] It is native to Australia, Papua New Guinea, and Indonesia.[4] It can be aggressive and is responsible for about 60% of snake bite deaths in Australia. It is highly dangerous. If that child had been bitten, and a hospital is not close, it could have been a real tragedy.

I did smoke from 16 to around 26, then quit and never resumed.

But I was very fit and active for most of my life, which I think helped, as well as not ever really growing up.

Mentally, I'm still somewhat reckless and immature in some ways. I play video games, drive a sports car, contribute to web forums and discussions...keeps me young.

Plus, you quit smoking while you were young.

Have you met anyone that has smoked for forty years or more Bricktop?

If they are in their late fifties they often look seventy five or more.

Yes, I know.

Yet they still do it.

You sound like you are describing  my dad. He will be seventy seven very soon, but looks one hundred. He smoked like  a chimney most of his life, and even now still sneaks a  cigarette or two a day.
