				Hey Weebs....cheers to ya ac_drinks
That looks pretty damn good...LOL Have not tried that one yet. Gonna show that one to the wife. She has been the grill master lately.
We have been on a brisket kick lately, using the rub and sop they have here.
http://bbqpitboys.com/beef-brisket-barbecue/
This weekend we have a pork roast and baby back ribs thawed out. Going to use a peach BBQ sauce and see how they turn out. We have learned the low and slow method on a Weber grill. Our barrel smoker rusted out on us a while ago. Here is the peach sauce we are going to use. https://www.buzzfeed.com/aldiusa/grilled-ribs-with-peach-bbq-sauce?utm_source=facebook&utm_campaign=tastyorganic&utm_term=.cnk5Bq1AG#.svvvz8lJM
I will post some pics once it is done.
I do highly recommend the brisket rub. After 10 hours on the pit it is amazing.

Man, I love smoked brisket, especially burnt ends. I can't have a smoker because I live in a condo. I wish a family member or friend had one. I would live there after golf on weekends.  ac_dance

I generally only bbq chicken and veggies.  Lo likes her steak but I generally take it next door and get my neighbor to bbq it for me...or I go out for steak dinner.  Im not much of a meat griller.

It is falling apart.  ac_biggrin  We are going to do it next time different. Recipe said to put them in foil at the start. I think we will do that last next time. Get more of a glaze built up. Made a big ol skillet of okra and tomatoes to go with...very tasty.

That would be tasty. Glazed baby carrots, buttered asparagus and garlic would be good too.

My Weber is propane, but it still works really well.
I just wish I could use it more...  Barbecuing for one isn't always easy.  Shit, cooking for one isn't always easy.

And dangerous when you're half in the bag 24/7.
I can't believe anyone would let a rummy like you near an open flame. The really scary part is you live in a attached wood structure full of handicapped ree-rees.
Drunks barbecuing and attached housing don't fucking mix.

No I have not. I can imagine that it would be a unique flavor. They are oak which is a plus. Thinking how they would work on coals though. Chips tend to burn fast. May have to put them in the charcoal basket and set next to the coals...not sure.

Yeah, for something you plan on cooking a long time, they might burn up quick. When I do steaks what I do is soak the chips for 30 minutes then drain 'em. They last a lot longer than throwing them on dry. Best steak you will ever have! I love those chips lol. My dad came over and I grilled steak, salmon, and shrimp and every time he ate a bite it was "mmmmmmmmm" "mmmmmmmm" lol. Told me I did better than he ever did.

The weber comes with containers that hold the charcoal for starting. Then we dump them out. Probably work good using those. We shall try them and see. My favorite wood is green pecan wood, won't hardly burn but smokes like crazy. We had a big brick pit that we smoked meat on. Took 24 hours to do a chicken, over 48 hours to do a ham.

I had gone to our little lake house and cut down a couple of small pecan trees. They were about 5 inch diameter. Cut them into about 2 foot pcs and brought it home. Had a piece of garden hose with a metal pipe on one end and the other went to an outlet on the gas water heater. Load up the logs and put it under the green pecan with about a 3 inch yellow flame and that was it. You could set your hand on the top of the pit without blistering. Some of the best tasting chicken I have ever eaten.

Interesting, and I was checking out your grill in the previous pic lol, looks nice. So its a combo charcoal and propane? Propane in the container on the right?
I have 2 grills, both CharBroil, one charcoal, one propane. The propane was recently given to me since my dad got a new one. Still new at propane lol, but getting the hang of it quickly. I like how its convenient and can adjust the temp easy.

It is a charcoal only grill. It has one burner jet used to start the charcoal only. Nice not having to use lighter fluid to start the charcoal.

Ah ok! I dont like using lighter fluid either, or using Matchlight. I dont want all that fuel taste lol. I use my charcoal chimney. You stuff a couple pieces of newspaper in the bottom, coals in the top, takes 10-15 minutes and the coals are hot. (not my pic)

Nope, charcoal storage. You will notice the bottom rack holds the container and you can tilt it out to get inside. We use the little propane tanks for the coleman stoves and lanterns. They just screw into the regulator easy. The little time needed to light the charcoal lets the small tanks last a while. So no big tanks to lug around or trade in. We just wait till they go on sale and get 6 or so at a time. That way we always have enough if a storm hits we can still cook on the stoves and grill.

This is actually the second condo I have owned. The first one I owned was only one bathroom. The one I am in now is bigger, the building was brand new when I bought in and it has a second full  bathroom.
When I bought the condo I live in now, I was thirty four going on thirty five. I still thought I might get married and have a kid then. I knew I needed a bigger place if that were to happen, but I didn't want to give up heated underground parking.
Condo living is ideal for a single person in my opinion. I have no driveway to shovel, no yards to mow and no exterior maintenance. The downside is the rules. For example, I can't have a charcoal grill or even a mini smoker. The other one in the con column is as the building ages owners can receive a huge assessment bill. Say, for a new roof.

That makes sense..
And if you bought a house you'd still have major repairs over time.

Its funny when the power does go out and everyone is wondering where all the good food smells are coming from lol.

I know white chicks are  jealous bitches. Particularly so, when their men are straying for East Asian women.  We're prettier and  smarter than they are and they know it.
Nope,  I don't want to leave my yard this weekend. I bought some fireworks and we'll bbq  pork, chicken and beef over the whole  of the weekend.

Well if you dont wanna leave the yard then I dont blame ya lol. Sounds a lot like what Im grilling, chicken, beef hot dogs, salmon, and burgers, during the 4 nights.

Yes mam! Im off Saturday through Tuesday.
Nah, only reason I get off Monday too is cause the boss wants to go see his dad in Tennessee, so the company will be shut down that day. I'll use my last vacation day so I dont lose pay, and get paid for the holiday on Tuesday.

I use all my holiday time in the winter.  I go to places like Florida, Mexico or the Caribbean and golf.

Man that sounds awesome. Holidays we have to take off with pay, about 5-6 days out of the year. Also get 2 weeks paid vacation, but normally I have to use them to offset pay loss on days they make us take off when its slow. I did use a full week for Seattle this year lol. Didnt think I could afford to, but glad I did it.

I'm up to four weeks vacation now..
I stagger them out over the year rather than taking them all at once.

In Canada, your annual vacation increases with seniority.
Most people with twelve years continuous service get four weeks av..
Many places, it's ten years..
Americans are stingy with annual vacation.

Thats awesome. I been here at this job for almost 8 years. 1 week the first year, 2 weeks every year after.
You are right on stingy. Very few holiday pays too at most "common" jobs if any. I've only had 2 different jobs that paid holidays and vacation. All the others were no vacation, no holiday pay. Never had medical benefits at any job.
