I stumbled upon this forum by accident. I know Real Woman, cc la femme, Shen Li, Ace  and Asia from Discover Vancouver. I posted a few times anonymously on VF when Ves launched it. Since that time, I registered at Brawl Hall, but I was not a regular before it folded.



I am from Kamloops, but I live in Red Deer. I work in the automotive parts distribution industry.



I don't plan on being a regular, but I will drop in  from  time to  time. It's good to see old posters I thought disappeared into the cyber cracks of the web.



For those that I don't know that posted thanks for the welcome.

DV was something else. When I first saw it it was non member .... everyone picked a handle and posted ... often changing handles on the fly .. . a free for all zoo but rapid-fire fun .. survival of the fittest and the fastest



Then Wild West .. then memberships ..... I was forms of cc always ... do we have to pay attention closely and figure out who you were?

Oscar and Yorky are in fact two separate posters.  They have a long history.  Neither of them are known to use alts to any real degree.



In fact, Yorky is one of the oldest remaining posters from old DV.



He could, at one time back in tha day, post quite coherently, believe it or not.



I'll be quite honest about Yorky, knowing him as a poster for over 10 years...  I truly do believe he may have drank himself into a medical problem.



Then again, you must also understand how Eves works...  When someone gets turfed from that forum, it is kept a HUGE secret.  I am perma-banned from Memebee, and it would never be permitted to be known on the board.  Yorky could have also been turfed.  Oscar could have been turfed also.

When I was still there I asked a few times for EVs to put up a thread saying who was banned and for what and for how long.  She wouldn't do it, and no one else  agreed with me, so I let it go.

I know, you don't appreciate him but he's made some of my favourite pieces of found poetry of all time.  I love stringing his words together and have them come out with something strangely profound.  Good fun.

I sure can say that posters like evs, mimi, Blurt, and others eventually showed their true colors as the Judas they truly are, shameless backstabbers. Smoking almost any amount can harm you.  but I wonder how much you have to drink to harm yourself.  Lots of studes say two drinks a day is good for you. So its got to be more than that.



I probably have about 20 drinks a year these days.  so I should be safe.
