This is an Australian silvereye.



The pic quality is awful, because the sky was overcast, these little fellas are the size of a man's thumb, and they flit rapidly from one perch to another. I was also a long way away. But you can make it out.

Fabulous pictures again Bricktop..



I've seen better shots of Australian flora and fauna from you  than I have from Nat Geo.

I love those little guys, duno how to say it but I can tell you most bird keepers would love the wildlife there, lol think like almost half of the birds I own are Australian originated.

Yes, we have some beautiful birds.



Its kind of sad seeing them in cages, probably because we can just sit outside and see them. This morning, for example, I was rudely awakened by a cockatoo screeching loudly...but its so cool to live in their yard so to speak. We see our cockatoos (the big white ones with yellow plume) and galahs (pink and grey) all over the world...yet we are not allowed to keep them. Weird.

We have lizards living in our rockery, plus the occasional snake. That's NOT so fortunate, as they are lethal.

Well, they aren't expensive here because you're not allowed to keep them, other than a few species. On the other hand, I guess they're free if you prefer them in the wild.

Between a salt water aquarium and raising birds, your hobbies provide a good source of pictures.

We don't get cute cottontails around here..



We only get the big jackrabbits which are a hare not a rabbit and not cute.

Man wish we have some of those here in Toronto, all we get is some pigeons, a few jays and sparrows living underneath the roof of my old house lol, though still addictively cute to watch.

Yeah I use it for all my pics, never had an issue (knocks on wood). Another fellow forum member suggested it to me long ago.



Im not into paying for pic hosting. Imageshack did the same to me and thats when I started using the other one.
