Being called a "snowflake" is damaging to mental health, young people say.  Figures show that the majority of young people think the term is unfair - and even more think it could have a negative effect of its own.



The "snowflake generation" is a disparaging term now commonly used to refer to young people, who are perceived to be over-sensitive and intolerant of disagreement.



But research by insurance firm Aviva found that 72 per cent of 16-24 year-olds think the term is unfairly applied, while 74 per cent think it could have a negative effect on young people's mental health.

Do NOT leave your child's education to the school system. It is corrupt. Make sure she understands the principle of diversity of OPINION.

But, my daughter will go to a local secular university.

The public school system is a duck in joke.  My kid is coming home unsatisfied cause the work is too easy....she even told me she wants a challenge.  I've seen the work they give her and it is super easy, I'm not understanding why they are doing this?  Apparently a whole bunch of other students are starting to complain.  I'm gonna start looking into tutoring and other courses outside of school for Lo...as well as continuing with the extra stuffs I teach Lo.

Lol...I know but I need to keep her interested.  I intend for her to go to college or university, she knows this.  Education is a priority in my home.  Homework done, keep grades up...keep attitude in check, she gets stuff.
