Relaxed, I like it. I wish I didn't have to travel today.  It's only an hour drive, but the traffic will be crazy. I'll get my drink on with my dad as soon as I get there. ac_dance

After I shovel spome snow.  I am going to see the new star wars with my family today.  Then we are going to eat small hor douvres here and there for dinner



Tomorrow its a prime rib beef roast with mashed potatoes for all and  champagne for the grown ups (kids can have a sip or two)



no fudge for dessert, just cookies :sad:

I make different kinds sometimes, but this year Im doing traditional, making my mom's Fantasy Fudge. Its the marshmallow chocolate fudge, made with sugar, butter, evap milk, semi sweet chocolate, marshmallow fluff, vanilla, and walnuts. It goes quick lol. I should of already made the first batch earlier this week and mailed some out, but Im behind. Making 6lbs. The fudge is still coming! Perfect way to get some adrenaline going for New Years  :laugh:

I know what ya mean, this Christmas didnt feel the same. Plus my son moved out this week. I didnt start shopping til yesterday lol.

Right now Im making that strawberry salad. With the pretzel, brown sugar and butter baked crust, layer of a sugar, cream cheese, cool whip mixture, then the top layer has a strawberry jello with sliced strawberries mixture on top. So good.

Lol, sounds like my sons friends when they come over. When they discover the fudge, they fill their cheeks like hamsters and still wanna know if they can take a few to go lol.

Unless the fudge has medicinal properties, I don't want any. My son is here. He brought some hoots.

Batch 2 turned out better! Just got back from FedEx with 2 packages of 2lbs each going out  ac_smile

Couldnt believe how much it cost to ship 4lbs of fudge. Ground was $35 for 2 destinations.



Along with the batch going to Seattle, is a Lord of the Rings calendar I made. Better than any I ever seen in a store lol.

Glad ya like it man! Extra marshmallow fluff is the secret to keeping it the softer and not as dry  :thumbup:



If I had time, there woulda been a card or something in there lol. Hard to say how old those Kroger sales papers are  :laugh:
