Beautiful little animal.
Fox?
Introduced species. Can't drive at night without seeing one every few minutes.
Our version would be Coyote. Native, but common. Viewed as a nuisance by many.

Our snakes do that. The foxes control barbecue drippings and exposed rubbish bins.
Not easy to photograph...very shy and alert.

Hmmm, I wonder if red foxes are shy here?
They are shy everywhere...that fox was 250 metres away when I photographed it.

wow
You could barely see it with the naked eye...just as I shot this picture, a car door was closed nearby and it was in its hole in a flash.
There is a lot of fox´s around this neighbourhood..
Just saw one on my yard not too long ago.
i would have no problem with them but its just that they might attack house cats.
I intend blow up the fox hole/nest..

Introduced rabbits are probably the bigger problem in that scenario.
Rabbits and rodents.

But if I get to choose I still rather have some fauna running around, since my family and I moved to our new house the only visitor we got was this plump and cute little quail, wonder did the little guy got abducted as a house pet.

There shouldn't be any that I know of or ever seen one until we moved to another house. Though I think Bobwhite quails are one of the local wild quails that resides in Ontario, since I have a licence to own one as a pet. They're super cute but unfortunately people use them as game birds/shooting targets.

Unfortunately yea since they're not considered as a domestic pet, but classified as a wild bird in captivity. Though ppl sell them just to shoot at for fun, sometimes I dun get it why someone could kill something so cute and beautiful. ac_unsure
