Yes, I agree with everyone...your problem is alcohol Mel....it does horrible things to people....when in doubt, just go to bed instead.
Hopefully you refrain from drinking tonight...make it an early go tomorrow....go to a new years day swim or breakfast...I plan to make breaky tomorrow morning and then we are going to the polar bear swim.
If you need help Mel, go to AA...im sure there is one in your hood somewhere. You will meet some very encouraging people there and you WILL get a sponsor...just keep going. I have a gf who has been clean for 1 year since yesterday....she is doing very well...its so nice to just visit her and watch her laugh and smile and really mean it...its life changing....and now thats shes gone this far to do this for herself, she totally has my support to stay clean!

You're in Toronto? I wouldn't dip there either..it's -20'c - -40'c all across Canada accept here in BC...we were at -2'c today. I didn't go in but Lo and her friend did...they had a great time! Got it all on video!! lol
