Our eldest came home from school in the late nineties and told us that 'we' have to say sorry and write cards for aboriginals because that was what his kinder teacher was having the class do.
I blew my top and cornered that bitch. Really chewed into her until she broke out in tears. Told her I wasn't sorry that she was upset as I left. The fcking cheek of that dumb woman to try to make kindergarteners feel guilty because of their skin colour.

Glad to see you did whats right, and stood up to this tyranny, a lot of people are cowards and won't take this stuff on.
I feel bad for aborginals, and blacks in the ghetto, and native Canadians, but how is telling white children they are inferior because of their race help any of those groups? It doesn't, and might even make people angry at them in a backlash.

Yes, but they don;t have a low opinion of themselves actually, they think very highly of themselves. They think being white and hating their own people makes them virtuous and superior to most others. They don't see their own whiteness as bad, they feel they have washed themselves of the sin of whiteness by being for the "right" things.
