In Canada, and probably in much of the rest of the World also, when you are in the drivers seat of a motor vehicle in a public place, the police have the right, for NO REASON WHATSOEVER, to check to make sure that you are licensed and insured/registered.
As such, the TWO things you MUST give them, are drivers licence, and insurance/registration.
If you have a hard time providing these two things, or fail to provide these two things, you'll probably be stepping out of the fucking vehicle, in one way or another.

I use to want to be an officer. Mom made me join the jr. cadet program when I was 15, thought it would keep me out of trouble. I had a good time while there, but it also made me decide I didnt want to be a cop. Because there is a mixed breed of officers. You've got some that honestly want to do good, and help others. Then there are the others that you mention, that are power trippers and take pleasure in being a dick. These days, its even worse, because the Andy and Barney days are over, and now they are brainwashed during training. They are taught to watch for certain things, that shouldnt even matter. Like telling them that patriots are to be considered terrorists. I seen video of it, saying that our founding fathers were terrorists. I could go on and on. A police force is a mixed bag in my opinion. I try and think there are still some good ones out there, but the Andy's are fading fast.

At least that's a good way to see it, usually I just accept things the way they are, despite the fact that his excuse to ignorantly paint all of our police officers with the same brush seems embarassingly weak. I guess no one is perfect, but imo even the cops that want to practice their power or authority on some people are still critically needed to keep the society safe. Plus lets be honest here, most people choose their jobs based on their personal interest, I mean my brother joined the army b/c when he was young he really like tanks, guns, fighter jets, etc and I'm responsible for quality control and massive ammount of data management that can't have room for error since I have OCD, lol.

I guess some do enjoy the adrenaline as someone had mentioned before, but after watching these body cam clips, now I really know that most movies are mainly just for "entertainment" purposes, nothing else... at least imo. When I was a few years younger I still idolize the characters and machines in anime and believe this is how elite disciplinary forces perform in real life, but now that's not exactly the case. Even horror films can't get worst than what we've just seen in body cam clip, b/c we all know one is fiction and one is real, and in the clip it's one of the very few times I've seen such cunning deception performed by the suspect.

Lol the animes I used to watch felt like there's a lot of brainwashing, trying to express to their viewers that it's right to be just and vigilant, before I started watching animes and had mental disorder I used to be a passive peaceful kid and could never imaging having to fight opponents that are physically taller and stronger than me or against the odds or ones that are complete strangers, just nothing but pure brainwashing.

Lol, I almost joined the army, I was a lot like your brother, actually I wanted to be a fighter pilot but my eyesight wouldnt let me cause it had to be perfect. I was also artsy in school, so I guess thats how I ended up doing what I do.

Many decades ago there were more peace officers about and not a legion of grubby thieving narcissists with Napoleon complexes. Cops had a better idea on how to deal with people often ignoring the fine letter of the law in order to get a more positive outcome in the long run. There was no militarization of cop shops. Regulations and codes were fewer. Cops didn't shoot your dog because it was behaving like a faithful dog should on its own property. Cops didn't make retarded demands to disarm their populations then get judges to render 'no legal responsibility to protect' outcomes when taken to court because they failed to live up to a bargain. There were still plenty of dirty cops though. But they often got taken care of quietly internally.
I don't doubt that there are plenty of modern cops who do their jobs and go home to play with their kids.
It's the job that's become the problem and by sticking with it, rationalizing it, hero worshipping it, giving it undue accolades, and pretending that it doesn't more or less boil down to an Orwellian street gang, any moral authority it might have had on any level has been rendered non-existent.
I also get that people need to believe that they are safe and will cling to anything they're brainwashed with in government schools to maintain that allusion from reciting silly oaths and incantations towards pieces of dyed fabrics to idolizing their on the street prison wardens in blue as their pocket books are systematically emptied for ad hoc legislated and applied crimes with no victims.

Return Western law back to its former glory. Get rid of the more recent income taxes as well as the property, estate, and death taxes. Innocence before guilt always. That's a start.
Remove unelected police. Sheriffs have the consent of those who elect them and for those who didn't, they are free to leave or employ another security service on their behalf who are bonded to deliver similarly.
Bodycams are great though. Every single person on this planet should have one. If AI manages to fake them one day, I'm still sure there will be a gold standard of authenticity for some competitor.

DD You're asking, if not demanding quite a lot for a person that have never contribute any to the peace and safety of the society. No one or any sane person is going to risk themselves on a pay that is hardly higher than someone that is just sitting safely in a office typing in front of a computer. Many decades ago there were more peace officers about and not a legion of grubby thieving narcissists with Napoleon complexes. Cops had a better idea on how to deal with people often ignoring the fine letter of the law in order to get a more positive outcome in the long run. There was no militarization of cop shops. Regulations and codes were fewer. Cops didn't shoot your dog because it was behaving like a faithful dog should on its own property. Cops didn't make retarded demands to disarm their populations then get judges to render 'no legal responsibility to protect' outcomes when taken to court because they failed to live up to a bargain. There were still plenty of dirty cops though. But they often got taken care of quietly internally.

Thank youac_blush , I might be a pro law and order kind of person and really happy about what you've said, but I'm afraid I don't have what it takes to be qualified as a good policeman, simply b/c my mental reflex and physical strength is too weak compared to most people.
