Philippines President Rodrigo Duterte last week told soldiers to shoot female rebels in their genitals, the latest in a series of violent, misogynistic remarks.
Addressing a group of former communist rebels on 7 February, Duterte, who served as a city mayor before becoming President, appeared to encourage Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) to target women in conflict.

Illegal drugs costs wealthy nations a lot, but the social and monetary cost to developing nations is a hell of a lot higher. I do not mind the heavy handed tactics in Mindinao either. But, Duterte does say some sick things about women.
