Writing in The Nation, Ms. (Leeha) Yona denounced President Trump for his appointment of a string of "climate-change deniers" before expounding her own theory of the centrality of climate change in understanding every other issue.



"Climate change isn't just about the planet. It's about justice: racial, social, socioeconomic, reproductive, and environmental," she wrote. "It's about immigration reform, LGBTQIA+ rights, and religious freedom."



"I find myself unable to think of climate change on its own," Yona writes.



The inability to think about climate on its own, or even to be able to think about it rationally, seems to be an epidemic affecting many on the left.



Then again, if it is an epidemic, it must be caused by climate change as well.

So, it's not about science, it's about social science.

A lot of people are using something the science of AGW to advance a hard left ideology. This is why at the very least we need to be skeptical about zealots who claim to stand behind science.

A lot of people are using something the science of AGW to advance a hard left ideology. This is why at the very least we need to be skeptical about zealots who claim to stand behind science.

In particular those that know NOTHING about the science and pretend they do.
