Huntsman aren't so bad. If you've got them in your house, they're eating white tails, daddy's, and the rare redback that wanders in through the roof vents. Their bite isn't pleasant but it's pretty difficult to get them to bite you even when handling them unless you trap and apply pressure on them. Then they'll bite and who wouldn't?

Twas ever thus...but we're accustomed to them, and know the dangers and signs of their presence.

Its the same principle that prevents Canadians being eaten by bears.

Bears getting into houses is pretty rare.

And from what I've seen, if a bear is, or has been, in your house, its rather obvious.
