Title: Is it time to hook up the air conditioner?

Weird weather but it's been nice the last week and in high 20's for the coming week...it gets warm in here fast.  I have my windows open today but I can smell the heat and screen from the window...not appealing.  Are you using your A.C. yet?

I've had to use my small AC a few times. Its been in the 70's. Be in the 80's in a week. I need to order a bigger one before then, my old big one crapped out at the end of the year last year.

No AC yet (I live 30 minutes from Berry, so same climate).



Usually May or June I pull out the trusty Whynter A/C that I purchased at the Home Depot in Bellingham for a great bargain.  Great unit that's not even available in Canada.  Canada fucking sucks.  US has the selection I need, plus no fucking French all over the packaging.

I think I'm gonna hook up my a.c....went out to pick up some supplies and now I'm boiling to death...



I have 2 ac's...a small window one for my bedroom a d a larger one that vents out the window in my living room which cools off the rest of the place.  



Let's set her up!!!

I don't keep packaging.   I have bought Lo toys over the years in Washington state...all the toy packages have Spanish.  And then other small products...maybe this has changed over the years.  Florida only had English.

The only exceptions are very specific occupations, such as specialized Doctors, actors, etc.  That, and Native Indians.  Indians are permitted to live anywhere they want in North America (Jay Treaty).

It was hot when we were there...about 38-43'.    Every place has air conditioners.



I hooked up my a.c. and let it run for about 1 hour...then it got cold and I turned it off...just finished dinner a f will turn it on again for a bit.

This is not known, as they drilled down, and seen it with a camera. I doubt it will be excavated, as its a protected area I believe.

Actually, there was never a correct 'rolling pattern' or 'shape' in history.  They could roll either way.



Third Reich Swastika's did, however, always roll counter-clockwise.  And even though they are often seen rotated at a 45 degree angle, by no means was Hitler picky about this, and many examples can be seen of Third Reich Swastika displayed in public without the 45 degree angle.

Yes it was beautiful.  Everyone tales the heat differently.  I don't like my place sweltering at 35'c...so I put the a.c. on...its good for us and the birds...even my beardy moved to the shaded part of the tank...

You got that right brother. The old lady and I haven't bought meat in years. We have free range cattle, chickens, and now turkeys. My nephews gave me some elk and wild boar meat that they shot. We produce our own honey and sell it. It is the life I tell ya.

Awesome on the honey too, Im sure thats challenging to a degree. I always buy local honey, cured my allergies! And I dont get sick as often either, use to be a few times a year I would catch a cold, but now only once usually.

Lol, my 2nd one got hooked up a couple weeks ago. I like this new one, I dont have to run the 2nd one during the day like I use to. So I turn the main one off at night and just run the 2nd one in the bedroom. Everyday I've walked in its been between 68-70 (20-21)

30 here (87) and high humidity. Honestly the temperature doesnt bother me, its the humidity, especially once the temperature climbs into the 90s near 100. I prefer a dry air if its gonna be that hot.

Our climate is dry...but during summer they get cyclones up north and their tails tend to drift down into our patch creating a muggy, sticky heat.



Its more comfortable at 44C with dry desert air than 30C and humid.

The weather has warmed up very quickly this year in BC...there is a lot of flooding in the okanagan area and the kootenays.  People have been evacuated and their homes are damaged.

I got a really bad sun burn on Monday.  It was a holiday and we went to the beach.  I was sitting in my chair for several hours reading a real good book...but damn...it really hurts and I look like a lobster...lol...i was wearing funky shirt part of the day and now I got a really stupid looking burn on my arms...lol...today at work they were bugging me, saying...theres farmers tan and there's my fashion tan...lol...yes it is funny....gladly it will fade and turn into a tan.  No more sun till this lobster girl heals!

Same here! 68-70, but oddly, 70 is too hot in the winter, and 68 can be either too cool or just right in the summer.











I dont check the humidity all the time, so I dont know how often it has hit it, but feels like a lot lol, but was 100% humidity the other day.

How many outside walls do you have in your unit Berry?



If you only have one, you can keep the temperature lower, if you have an end unit maybe a degree or two higher would be better.
