I've worked these fucking things for well over five years. They've been covered in concrete, and various other shit... Oil, mud most of all.
Only thing I had to replace is the insole, but that's easy enough to do with those Dr. Scholl's 'cut to size' insoles.
They aren't cheap, but yes, the Chinks can make a good product. Not often, but they can.

Very few things.
They've improved a lot over the years though it's still either a hit or a miss, but the biggest problem IMO with Chinese sellers is they make a lot of knock off stuff which bugs the crap outta me, lol, I mean I want to look for the apple airpods to buy and it's buried beneath all these cheap replica crap, lol.
