I added an Abo to the cast of 'Neighbours'...  Now it's not racist anymore.

Not much terribly great comes from Canada.  Most of our most talented actors just end up in the US.



Canadian budget is low (at least compared to US), and most everything production related is low budget.



Flashpoint is one of the few Canadian TV series that I thought they did fairly well, but they are an exception...

I'm not a huge comedy genre fan, as most of it sucks, but one of the few I do enjoy is 'Curb Your Enthusiasm.'  That should give you an idea of what I can tolerate!
